Hunt and his men head to Arizona to stop a Mexican militia raiding ranches and rustling cattle across the border. Hunt and brother-in-law Clover are wounded early on, forcing Hunt to seek medical help and leave his men to fight alone, until he finds a cavalry unit to help rescue them. Back in Denver, a deranged man threatens Hunt's family, sparking a full manhunt. Meanwhile, Hunt's deputies juggle a string of urgent cases: rescuing an injured, amnesiac young girl found wandering a ranch, tracking armed deserters after a deadly bank robbery, investigating livestock killings, and confronting a highway killer, a self-proclaimed fastest gun in the West, a lawless town, and a towering, dangerous man even the local sheriff won't face.

Hunt and his men travel to Arizona to find a group of Mexican Revolutionary Militia that has been crossing the border, killing ranchers, and herding cattle across the Rio Grande to feed their militia. It is up to Hunt and his men to locate and destroy the Mexicans who are causing all the trouble. Hunt and his brother-in-law, Clover, are wounded in the first of many skirmishes with the Mexican Militia, and Hunt returns with Clover to seek medical help, leaving his men alone to fight the bandits. Hunt discovers a unit of cavalrymen camped and seeks the aid of their medical staff and soldiers to rescue his men, who are in danger of being wiped out. Hunt returns to Denver and learns that a crazy man has come to Denver to kill him, his wife, and his children. A manhunt follows, utilizing all of the U.S. Deputy Marshals. Hunt’s men are sent on numerous missions after the battle with the Mexican bandits. A 12-year-old girl is discovered wandering across a ranch with a head wound; she doesn’t know her name or what happened. She is in danger of dying, so Hunt sends two of his best men to bring her to Denver for medical care. Other missions that his men are sent on involve two-army deserters that rob a bank and kill a woman, a rancher’s livestock is being shot, a highway killer, a man that claims to be the fastest gun in the west, a town without a sheriff where the cowboys have gone wild, and a giant of a man that stands over 7 foot tall and weighs over 400 pounds that the local sheriff is scared to confront.
